ECHO היא מפה חיה אחת שבה שכנים מבקשים עזרה, מציעים עזרה, מוצאים בעלי מקצוע וקונים ומוכרים יד שנייה. העיקרון שלנו פשוט: אנחנו אוספים רק מה שצריך כדי שהשירות יעבוד בשבילכם, ושום דבר לא נאסף מאחורי הגב.

מה נאסף

• התחברות. בהתחברות עם Google: השם, כתובת המייל והמזהה שגוגל מוסרת לנו. בהתחברות עם טלפון: המספר נשמר אצלנו כקוד מוצפן חד־כיווני (hash) ולא כמספר עצמו.
• פרופיל. מה שאתם בוחרים למלא: שם תצוגה, תמונה, תיאור, ולעסקים גם פרטי העסק.
• מיקום. רק כשאתם משתמשים במפה, כדי להראות לכם מה קרוב ולמקם על המפה בקשות ופריטים שאתם מפרסמים. הבקשות מוצגות במפה במיקום משוער (כמה מאות מטרים), והמיקום המדויק נראה רק למי שפרסם אותן.
• הפעילות שלכם ב-ECHO. בקשות שפרסמתם, הצעות עזרה, פריטים בשוק והודעות. זה מה שהשירות עצמו בנוי ממנו.
• נתונים טכניים. לוגים בסיסיים הדרושים להפעלה ולאבטחה (למשל הגנה מפני ניצול לרעה).

הצעות "בשבילך"

מסך הבית יכול להציע לכם בקשות, פריטים ובעלי מקצוע שמתאימים לכם. ההצעות נבנות רק ממה שעשיתם בתוך ECHO: מה ביקשתם, למי עזרתם ומה פרסמתם. ECHO לא מאזינה לכם ברקע, לא קוראת מידע מאפליקציות אחרות ולא בונה עליכם פרופיל פרסומי. אפשר לכבות את ההצעות בכל רגע: הגדרות ← פרטיות והרשאות.

מכ"ם הזדמנויות

ECHO יכולה להודיע לכם כשמופיעה קרוב אליכם בקשה או הצעה שמתאימה לכם. התחומים שמעניינים אתכם נקבעים רק מהפעילות שלכם בתוך ECHO: בקשות שפרסמתם, בקשות שעזרתם בהן ופריטים שפרסמתם בשוק. אין שאלון, ואין שימוש במידע מחוץ ל-ECHO. התחומים וההעדפות (תדירות, שעות שקט, מספר מקסימלי ביום) נשמרים בשרתי ECHO, ורשומת מה נשלח אליכם נשמרת כדי לא לשלוח אותו דבר פעמיים. ברירת המחדל היא סיכום יומי, עד שלוש הודעות ביום. התראת דחיפה נשלחת רק אם אישרתם התראות בדפדפן. אפשר להסיר תחום או לכבות את המכ"ם בכל רגע: הגדרות ← פרטיות והרשאות ← מכ"ם הזדמנויות.

תרגום

כשמופיע כפתור "לתרגם", התרגום מתבצע בדפדפן שלכם, על המכשיר. הטקסט לא נשלח ל-ECHO ולא לאף גורם אחר.

הרשאות שאתם מאשרים בנפרד

כל הרשאה נשאלת בנפרד, ברגע שאתם משתמשים בתכונה, ואפשר לסרב ולהמשיך להשתמש בכל השאר.

• מיקרופון (קלט קולי). פועל רק כשאתם מקישים על כפתור המיקרופון והוא דולק. הדיבור הופך לטקסט אצל שירות זיהוי הדיבור של הטלפון או הדפדפן שלכם (למשל Google ב-Chrome או Apple ב-Safari), ו-ECHO מקבלת רק את הטקסט. בדפדפן שאין בו שירות זיהוי דיבור מובנה, הזיהוי רץ על המכשיר שלכם עצמו (מודל קטן שמורד פעם אחת), וההקלטה לא נשלחת לשום מקום ולא נשמרת. שום דבר לא נשלח עד שאתם מקישים "שלח".
• אנשי קשר ("חברים ב-ECHO"). רק אם תבחרו בזה. כל מספר הופך לקוד מוצפן על המכשיר שלכם, ורק הקודים נשלחים. אנחנו משתמשים בהם פעם אחת כדי למצוא חברים שבחרו להיות ניתנים לאיתור, ולא שומרים אותם. נשמר רק הקישור ביניכם לבין חברים שכבר נמצאים ב-ECHO, ואפשר למחוק אותו בכל רגע.
• "אפשר למי שיש לו את המספר שלי למצוא אותי". כבוי כברירת מחדל. משתמשים מתחת לגיל 18 לעולם אינם ניתנים לאיתור דרך אנשי קשר.
• התראות. רק אם תאשרו. ההתראה עוברת דרך שירות ההתראות של הדפדפן או הטלפון שלכם (למשל Google, Apple או Mozilla), ומכילה רק כותרת קצרה ושורה על הבקשה או ההודעה. אפשר לכבות בכל רגע בהגדרות.

קישורי שיתוף

כשאתם משתפים בקשה, פריט, בעל מקצוע או עסק, הקישור מציג תצוגה מקדימה עם הכותרת, תיאור קצר ותמונת הפריט אם יש. זה רק מה שכבר מוצג לכולם בתוך ECHO, בלי מיקום ובלי פרטי קשר. תוכן של משתמשים מתחת לגיל 18 ותוכן שנסגר אינו מוצג בקישור.

שיתוף נתונים

אנחנו לא מוכרים מידע אישי ולא משתפים אותו לצורכי פרסום. אנחנו נעזרים בספקים שמפעילים את התשתית בשבילנו בלבד: שרתי האחסון שלנו, Cloudflare (אבטחה ומהירות) ו-Google (התחברות), ושירותי ההתראות של הדפדפנים (רק אם אישרתם התראות). העוזר החכם הופי רץ על השרתים של ECHO עצמה ולא אצל חברת בינה מלאכותית חיצונית.

Privacy Policy

ECHO is one live map where neighbours ask for help, offer help, find local professionals and buy and sell second-hand. Our rule is simple: we collect only what the service needs in order to work for you, and nothing is collected behind your back.

What we collect

• Sign-in. With Google: the name, email address and account ID Google shares with us. With a phone number: we store it as a one-way code (hash), not as the number itself.
• Profile. Whatever you choose to add: display name, photo, description, and for businesses the business details.
• Location. Only while you use the map, to show you what is nearby and to place the requests and items you publish. The map shows requests at an approximate location (a few hundred metres); the exact spot is visible only to the person who posted it.
• Your activity in ECHO. Requests you post, offers of help, marketplace items and messages. This is what the service itself is made of.
• Technical data. Basic logs needed to run and secure the service (for example, protection against abuse).

"For you" suggestions

Your home screen can suggest requests, items and professionals that fit you. Suggestions are built only from what you do inside ECHO: what you ask for, who you help and what you list. ECHO never listens in the background, never reads data from other apps and never builds an advertising profile about you. You can switch suggestions off at any time: Settings → Privacy & permissions.

Opportunity radar

ECHO can let you know when a request or offer that fits you appears near you. Your topics are set only from your own activity inside ECHO: requests you posted, requests you helped with and items you listed in the marketplace. There is no questionnaire and nothing from outside ECHO is used. The topics and your settings (frequency, quiet hours, daily maximum) are stored on ECHO's servers, and a record of what was sent to you is kept so the same thing is never sent twice. The default is a daily digest, at most three messages a day. A push notification is sent only if you allowed notifications in your browser. You can remove a topic or switch the radar off at any time: Settings → Privacy & permissions → Opportunity radar.

Translation

When you see a "Translate" button, the translation runs in your browser, on your device. The text is not sent to ECHO or to anyone else.

Permissions you grant separately

Each permission is asked for on its own, at the moment you use the feature, and you can say no and keep using everything else.

• Microphone (voice input). Works only when you tap the mic button and it is lit. Your speech is turned into text by your phone's or browser's speech service (for example Google in Chrome or Apple in Safari); ECHO receives only the text. In a browser without a built-in speech service, recognition runs on your own device (a small model downloaded once) and the recording is not sent anywhere or stored. Nothing is sent until you tap send.
• Contacts ("Friends on ECHO"). Only if you choose it. Each number is turned into a code on your device and only the codes are sent. We use them once to find friends who chose to be findable, and we don't keep them. Only the link between you and friends already on ECHO is saved, and you can delete it at any time.
• "Let people who have my number find me". Off by default. Users under 18 are never findable through contacts.
• Notifications. Only if you allow them. A notification travels through your browser's or phone's push service (for example Google, Apple or Mozilla) and carries only a short title and a line about the request or message. You can turn them off at any time in Settings.

Share links

When you share a request, an item, a professional or a business, the link shows a preview with the title, a short description and the item's photo if there is one. That is only what is already shown to everyone inside ECHO, with no location and no contact details. Content from users under 18 and content that was closed is never shown in a link.

Sharing

We don't sell personal data and don't share it for advertising. We use providers that run infrastructure for us only: our hosting servers, Cloudflare (security and speed) and Google (sign-in), plus the browsers' push services (only if you allowed notifications). Our assistant, Hopi, runs on ECHO's own servers, not at an outside AI company.

Your rights

• See and download your data: Settings → Privacy.
• Correct your profile details at any time.
• Ask for your account to be deleted: Settings → Privacy.
• Switch off personal suggestions and delete contact matches: Settings → Privacy & permissions.
